In accordance
with 5 CFR 1320, OMB grants clearance for this information
collection for a period of one year, subject to the following
conditions: 1) That the Commerce Department explore the possibility
of requiring respondents to send their forms directly to Washington
instead of through the regional offices, and 2) That the Commerce
Department considers removing SICs from the form, since they
present the greatest burden to respondents, and instead have the
SICs affixed in Washington as the data is logged into ITA's
system.

PRODUCTS THAT ARE MARKETABLE OVERSEAS BUT HAVE NEVER BEEN EXPORTED.
THERE IS A NEED TO PUT THOSE NEW TO EXPORTING FIRMS IN CONTACT WITH
FIRMS OFFERING EXPORT TRADE SERVICES. THE CONTACT FACILITATION
SERVICE IS DESIGNED AS A MATCHING SYSTEM TO PUT THE PRODUCER
TOGETHER WITH THE EXPORTER, OR VICE VERSA.
