Abstract: THE GROUP INTERVIEWS ARE NECESSARY TO OBTAIN PUBLIC INPUT ON THE DESIG OF THE FORM W-4 IN SUPPORT OF EFFORTS TO INCREASE COMPREHENSION AND REDUCE WITHHOLDING NON-COMPLIANCE UNDER THE NEW TAX LAW. THE RESULTS WILL PROVIDE GUIDANCE FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF ALTERNATIVE FORM DESIGNS. AFFECTED PUBLIC IS 81 PARTICIPANTS.
