Abstract: THE APPLICATION IS USED BY STATE EDUCATION AGENCIES TO APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE UNDER TITLE IV OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964. THE DEPARTMENT USES THIS INFORMATION TO EVALUATE THE PROPOSED PROJECTS AND MAKE AWARDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROGRAM REGULATIONS.
