Abstract: STATE GOVERNMENTS PROVIDE THE AGENCY WITH INFORMATION ON THEIR INSPECTIONS, COMPLIANCE, AND ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES FOR INPUT TO THE AGENCY'S COMPLIANCE DATA SYSTEM (CDS). THE INFORMATION IS USED TO ASSESS PROGRESS IN MEETING AIR QUALITY STANDARDS AND TO ASSURE CONTINU ATTAINMENT OF CLEAN AIR ACT REQUIREMENTS.
