Abstract: U.S. REGISTERED PILOTS ON THE GREAT LAKES ARE REQUIRED TO BE IN POSSESSION OF EVIDENCE OF REGISTRATION AS A PILOT WHILE IN THE SERVICE OF A VESSEL. SUCH EVIDENCE OF REGISTRATION MUST ALSO CONTAIN THE LIMITATIONS OF THE PILOT'S AUTHORITY. THE PILOT MUST PRESENT THIS CAR TO THE MASTER OF THE VESSEL ON WHICH HE IS TO SERVE, IF REQUESTED BY T MASTER.
