FOR PHYSICIAN AND SUPPLIER SERVICES REQUIRES STATE MEDICAID
AGENCIES WITH AN MMIS TO USE EXCLUSIVELY A COMMON PROCEDURE CODING
SYSTEM. IT USED FOR CODING MEDICAL PROCEDURES THAT HAVE BEEN
PERFORMED AND IS USE IN DETERMINING REASONABLE COSTS.
