Abstract: FORMULA GRANTS, AID FOR EDUCATION, ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION THE EMERGENCY IMMIGRANT EDUCATION PROGRAM IS A FORMULA GRANT PROGRAM. THE AMOUNT OF AWARD IS BASED ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE IMMIGRANT REPORTED BY THE SEA AS HAVING ENROLLED IN ITS ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY (PUBLIC AND NONPUBLIC) SCHOOLS. THE AWARD IS TO ASSIST THE SEAS IN MEETING THE COSTS OF PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO THESE CHILDREN.
