BIOLOGICAL PEST CONTROL IS THE STUDY
AND UTILIZATION OF BENEFICIAL ORGANISMS FOR REGULATION OF TARGET
PEST POPULATIONS. MANY ORGANISMS UTILIZED ARE INTRODUCED BY
FEDERAL, STATE AND UNIVERSITY FACILITIES. COMPILATION OF DATA ON
COLLECTIONS, CULTURES, SHIPMENTS AND RELEASES OF THESE ORGANISMS IS
NEEDED TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE BIOLOGICAL CONTROL.
