Abstract: THE REQUIREMENTS FOR USE OF NEW ANIMAL DRUGS IN MEDICATED FREE-CHOICE FEED HAVE BEEN REVISED IN RESPONSE TO REQUESTS FROM THE REGULATED INDUSTRY. THE REVISION SIMPLIFIES THE PROCEDURES FOR APPROVAL OF NEW ANIMAL DRUGS IN MEDICATED FREE-CHOICE FEEDS AND INCREASES THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS EXPECTED FROM SMALL FEED MANUFACTURERS.
