Abstract: MAIN FANS FOR UNDERGROUND GASSY MIN MUST HAVE PRESSURE-RECORDING GAGES WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO BE EXAMINED DAILY AND THE CHARTS CHANGED AFTER COMPLETING ONE REVOLUTION. THE CHARTS INDICATE WHETHER THE FANS ARE IN GOOD OPERATING CONDITION. THE CHARTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE KEPT ON FILE AT THE MINE FOR ONE YEAR.
