RESULTS OF A SURVEY OF 9 LICENSEES AS TO HOW MUCH TIME THEY SPEND
TO COMPLY WITH THIS REPORTING REQUIREMENT (2) A LISTING OF ALL
LICENSES TERMINATED SINCE MAY 1982 ON THE BASIS OF INFORMATION
SUPPLIED BY LICENSEES ON NASA FORM 1427 (3) A DESCRIPTION, WITH
EXAMPLES, OF HOW THE INFORMATION REPORTED CHANGES FROM YEAR TO
YEAR, AND AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY A CERTIFICATIO COULD NOT BE USED
AFTER THE FIRST YEAR IF THE FIRST REPORT REVEALS THAT ADEQUATE
STEPS ARE BEING TAKEN TO COMMERCIALIZE THE INVENTION.

LICENSES TO PRIVATE BUSINESS FIRMS FOR COMMERCIAL USE OF NASA
PATENTED INVENTIONS. THIS REPORT IS REQUIRED BY EACH LICENSE AND IS
OBTAINED ANNUALLY FROM EACH LICENSEE TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF
COMMERCIAL USE BEING MADE BY EACH LICENSEE OF THE PATENTED
INVENTIONS.
