Abstract: A SURVEY IS TO BE CONDUCTED AMONG 2400 WORKERS DISLOCATED BY A PLANT CLOSING AND WHO ARE APPLYING FOR ASSISTANCE FROM A DISLOCATED WORKER PROGRAM. APPLICANTS WILL BE RANDOMLY ASSIGNED TO EITHER THE TREATMENT GROUP (I.E., RECEIVE SERVICES) OR THE CONTROL GROUP. THE SURVEY WILL GATHER BENCHMARK DATA ON WORK HISTORY, WAGES, PREVIOUS TRAINING, ETC. A FOLLOW-UP SURVEY, CONDUCTED 18 MONTHS LATER, WILL GATHER INFORMATION ON THE EFFECTS OF
