Abstract: EXPOSURE TO HIGHLY ESTROGENIC SUBSTANCES CAN AFFECT REPORDUCTION, CANCER RISK, BONE METABOLISM, AND CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH. HUMAN HEALTH EFFECTS OF WEAK ENVIRONMENTAL ESTROGENS ARE UNKNOWN. SEVENTY POSTMENOPAUSAL VOLUNTEERS WILL EAT A SOY RICH DIET AND THE BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF PLANT ESTROGENS WILL BE MEASURED. IF CHANGES OCCUR, FURTHER INVESTIGATION IS WARRANTED.
