Approved with
the condition that the number of banks has been reestimated to be
5000, so that the current burden is now estimated at 706,900 hours
(5000 x 4 = 20000 x 35.345 hours per response = 706,900 hours) for
an adjustment increase of +78,328 hours. The program change
decrease credit will not be given until the second quarter of FY
1988 as that is when the revisions to the information collection
will occur. At that time, OCC can submit an inventory correction
worksheet, with a copy of this notice and the final printed RC, to
receive a program change decrease credit of 70,000 hours (5000
banks x quarterly reporting x 3.5 hours). These conditions are
being imposed to ensure that the burden hours accurately reflect
the burden imposed on the public, as required by the Paperwork
Reduction Act and its implementing regulations at 5 CFR 1320.
