Abstract: EPA WILL CONDUCT A QUESTIONNAIRE-TYPE SURVEY OF STATE LEAD AGENCIES CONDUCTING FIFRA SEC. 24(C) SPECIAL LOCAL NEEDS PROGRAMS. THE RESPONS WILL ENABLE EPA TO DETERMINE IF THE AGENCIES HAVE THE EXPERTISE NECESSARY TO REVIEW THE TYPE OF 24(C) REGISTRATIONS BEING GRANTED, AND THE ADEQUACY OF THEIR WRITTEN PROCEDURES. STATES WILL ALSO BE ASKED F A DATA BASE UPDATE OF ALL ACTIVE 24(C) REGISTRATIONS.
