NASA will
include in its justification for extension next year: (1) the
results of a survey of 9 waiver recipients as to how much time they
spend to comply with this reporting requirement, (2) a description,
with examples, of the type and frequency of any actions NASA has
taken, other than routine continuation of the waiver, since
October, 1984, on the basis of information supplied by waiver
recipients under this reporting requirement, and (3) a description,
with examples, of how the information reported changes from year to
year, and an explanation as to why a certificatio could not be used
after the first year if the first report reveals that adequate
steps are being taken to commercialize the invention.
