Abstract: LOAN ACT REQUIRE THAT THE BANK BOARD ACT ON REQUESTS BY ORGANIZING 12 CFR SEC. 543.2, 552.1 AND 571 AND SEC. 5(A) OF THE HOME OWNERS LOAN ACT REQUIRE THAT THE BANK BOARD ACT ON REQUESTS BY ORGANIZING GROUPS F PERMISSION TO ESTABLISH A NEW FEDERAL ASSOCIATION. THE APPLICATION FOR A FEDERAL ASSOCIATION CHARTER IS TO EVALUATE WHETHER THE APPLICANT GROUP HAS MET THE STATUTORY AND REGULATORY CRITERIA.
