THE NATIONAL CRIME SURVEY IS A PROGRAM
FOR GATHERING, ANALYZING, PUBLISHING, AND DISSEMINATING STATISTICS
ON THE KINDS AND AMOUNT OF CRIME COMMITTED AGAINST HOUSEHOLDS AND
INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. RESPONDENTS INCLUDE PERSONS 12
YEARS OR OLDER LIVING IN 66,000 HOUSEHOLDS IN 311 PSUS.
