Abstract: THE PORK PROMOTION, RESEARCH, AND CONSUMER INFORMATION ACT AUTHORIZES THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORK PROMOTION, RESEARCH, AND CONSUMER INFORMATION PROGRAM TO BE FINANCED THROUGH ASSESSMENTS ON DOMESTIC PORCINE ANIMALS AND IMPORTED PORCINE ANIMALS, PORK, AND PORK PRODUCTS. THIS ACT IS A FORM OF SELF-ASSESSMENT BY THE PORK INDUSTRY. ALL RESPONSES ARE VOLUNTARY.
