Abstract: THIS RULE WOULD ESTABLISH A GENERAL STANDARD OF IDENTITY FOR "CERTAIN OTHER CHEESES" APPLICABLE TO ALL CHEESES NOT COVERED BY INDIVIDUAL VARIETAL STANDARDS OF IDENTITY. IN ADDITION TO COMPOSITIONAL REQUIREMENTS, IT WILL PROVIDE FOR A UNIFORM LABELING SCHEME FOR THESE FOODS WHICH SHOULD ASSIST CONSUMERS IN THE SELECTION OF CHEESE VARIETIES WHICH MAY BE NEW
