This information collection is approved with the changes agreed upon by Paul Bugg and Mike Hay. The Fish and Wildlife Service agrees to look into the methodology of the fish and hunt survey and to examine the number, type and length of the questions asked in the survey. The Fish and Wildlife Service should understand that this recall bias study will, in no way, serve as justification for a large increas in the size of the fish and hunt survey. Rather, it should be used to consolidate, simplify and increase the accuracy of the survey.
