Abstract: REGULATION M ISSUED BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD IMPLEMENTS THE CONSUMER LEASING ACT. IT REQUIRES LESSORS TO DISCLOSE TO CONSUMERS IN PRESCRIBED FORMAT THE ESSENTIAL TERMS AND COSTS OF CERTAIN LEASES O PERSONAL PROPERTY. THIS SUBMISSION INCLUDES ONLY THE PAPERWORK BURDEN ASSOCIATED WITH LESSORS OVER WHICH THE FTC HAS JURISDICTION.
