In accordance
with the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5CFR 1320 this information
collection is approved for one year on the condition that the Peace
Corps telephone scarce skill applicants only. The telemarketing
procedures shall not be used to increase applications in general,
since current applications from individuals without scarce skills
are sufficient to meet Peace Corps needs. Upon resubmission, the
Peace Corps should provide a quantification of how many
applications actually translated into increased number of Peace
Corps volunteers with specialized skills.
