Abstract: IE-400 PROVIDES A MEANS BY WHICH DOE CAN MONITOR SURPLUS NATURAL GAS SUPPLIES. THE DATA ARE USED TO IDENTIFY FIRMS WITH SURPLUS SUPPLIES AND TO USE THIS INFORMATION TO HELP ALLEVIATE ANY SHORTAGE SITUATION. RESPONDENTS ARE SUPPLIERS OF NATURAL GAS.
