Abstract: APPLICATION FOR INSPECTION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO CG INSPECTION FOR CERTIFICATION OF U.S. VESSEL. APPLICATION PROVIDES CERTAIN BASIC INFORMATION NEEDED FOR PLANNING AND CARRYING OUT THE INSPECTION. WRITTEN REQUESTS ARE REQUIRED FOR WAIVERS FROM CG VESSEL INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS DUE TO NATIONAL DEFENSE CONSIDERATIONS. OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF U.S. COMMERCIAL VESSELS CONSTITUTE AFFECTED PUBLIC.
