Abstract: THIS STUDY WILL REQUEST INFORMATION ON THE FORMATION OF DIOXINS/FURANS DURING THE BLEACHING OF CHEMICAL WOOD PULP FROM 105 PULP MILLS. EPA WILL USE THE INFORMATION TO ASSESS THE NEED FOR REGULATIONS, MODIFY NPDES PERMIT LIMITS, AND CHARACTERIZE THE FULL RANGE OF RISKS IMPOSED BY DIOXIN IN BLEACHED WOOD PULP.
