Abstract: PREVIOUS STUDIES HAVE SHOWN A CORRELATION BETWEEN MATERNAL AND INFANT BIRTH WEIGHT. IT IS NOT KNOWN IF THIS IS CAUSED BY DIFFERENCES IN DURATION OF PREGNANCY OR RATE OF GROWTH. THE PROPOSED STUDY WILL HELP RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. THE RESULTS OF THIS PROJECT WILL BE USED FOR RESEARCH STUDIES AIMED AT THE PREVENTION OF LOW BIRTH WEIGHT DELIVERIES.
