We have approved through May 1991, the maximum period allowed by the Act, the information collection requirements in the final EtO standard, as amended. When the medical surveillance and monitoring requirements are resubmitted for OMB review, the agency shall submit evidence that they have been evaluated in the workplace and that such evaluation has shown, pursuant to 5 CFR 1320.4(b), that they have practical utility and are the least burdensome necessary for the proper performance of the agency's functions.

THE FINAL AMENDMENT WILL ADD AN EXCURSION LIMIT TO THE STANDARD'S PERMISSIBLE EXPOSURE LIMIT. THE EXURSION LIMIT WILL AFFECT PRIMARILY THE EXPOSURE MONITORING AND RECORDKEEPING AS WELL AS THE COMPLIANCE PLAN PROVISIONS OF THE STANDARD.
