Abstract: THE SURVEY WILL BE USED TO COLLECT SELECTED DATA FROM THE SHIPPERS ON THE IMPACT OF NEW SHORT LINE AND REGIONAL RAILROADS. THE ICC AND DOT WILL ANALYZE THE DATA AND REPORT THE RESULTS TO CONGRESS TO HELP ASSES OUR PRESENT POLICY OF PROMOTING GROWTH OF SUCH RAILROADS.
