This collection
is approved for use under OMB control number 1117-0022 through
3/31/89 by which time DEA shall have reviewed the effectivenes of
the speciman collection program and any comments received on the
collection. DEA should, in the ensuing information collection
request, note any problems with the chain of custody process and
describe any agency actions to deal with those problems. This
collection is approved for a short time in anticipation of the
availability of a standard, government-wide chain of custody system
that would replace this collection. DEA should also ensure that any
DEA forms contain no reference to any private firm or entity.
