Abstract: OSHA PLACES REQUIREMENTS UPON THE STATES WHICH IT FUNDS TO PROVIDE CONSULTATION TO EMPLOYERS TO ASSIST THEM IN ACHIEVING A SAFE AND HEALTHFUL WORKPLACE. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE INTENDED TO ASSURE THAT THERE IS A UNIFORM STANDARD OF CONSULTATION SERVICE PROVIDED IN ALL STATES NATIONWIDE. FOR EXAMPLE, ALL STATES ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EMPLOYERS WITH A WRITTEN REPORT OF THE CONSULTANT'S FINDINGS.
