Abstract: THE IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT (INA) AS AMENDED BY IMMIGRATION REFORM AND CONTROL ACT (IRCA) REQUIRES THE DOL AND THE USDA TO ESTIMATE THE DEPARTURE RATE FROM SEASONAL AGRICULTURAL SERVICES (SAS) AGRICULTURE AND TO ANALYZE INFORMATION ABOUT WAGES, WORKING CONDITIONS AND RECRUITMENT PRACTICES. THIS SURVE WILL GATHER DATA NECESSARY TO MAKE THESE ESTIMATES AND CARRY OUT THESE ANALYSES.
