THE NATIONAL CRIME SURVEY IS A PROGRAM
FOR GATHERING, ANALYZING, PUBLISHING AND DISSEMINATING STATISTICS
ON THE KINDS AND AMOUNT OF CRIME COMMITTED AGAINST HOUSEHOL AND
INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. RESPONDENTS INCLUDE PERSONS 1
YEARS OR OLDER LIVING IN 1,000 HOUSEHOLDS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS,
ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
