Abstract: CUSTOMS FORM 3189 IS USED TO EXTEND THE TIME FOR MERCHANDISE OR BAGGAG TO REMAIN ON A WHARF OR PIER FROM THE ALLOWED 5 DAYS AFTER A VESSEL HAS ENTERED. IT IS ALSO USED IN EXTENDING THE TIME LIMIT IN THE CASE OF TRANSFERRING ZONE RESTRICTED MERCHANDISE INTO CUSTOMS TERRITORY.
