Abstract: STUDY MANDATED BY CONGRESS (P.L. 99-51, SECTION 416) TO EVALUATE RSVP AND SCP FAMILY CAREGIVER PROGRAMS WHICH PROVIDE, THROUGH VOLUNTEERS, RESPITE SERVICES TO FAMILIES CARING FOR FRAIL OR DISABLED RELATIVES. FINDINGS WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION USEFUL FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND MONITORING.
