Terms of Clearance: Approved for 90 days with the following conditions. HUD has not demonstrated compliance with the existing terms of clearance by indicating in the instructions for the 93101-A form that the provision of the statistical data required by questions 2-7 is optional. Therefore, HUD is directed to revise this form to eliminate entirely the imposition of these questions on the public, and must submit a revised copy of this form (with questions 2-7 deleted) by December 17, 1988. We note that the information collected by questions 3-7 is duplicative of information collected on the 93101 form, and HUD has not demonstrated a programmatic need for the information collected by question 2. In addition, HUD must provide a more intelligible response regarding why questions 12-16, which also request duplicative information, should not be deleted from the 93101-A form.
