Abstract: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, AWARDS, URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS{ THE HUD NATIONAL RECOGNITION PROGRAM SEEKS TO IDENTIFY COMMUNITIES WHI HAVE USED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO GENERATE EXEMPLARY PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS. CITIES, PUBLIC INTEREST GROUPS AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS ARE BEING ASKED TO RECOMMEND PROJECTS. HUD WILL IDENTIFY A FINAL GROUP OF PROJECTS FOR SPECIAL COMMENDATION BY TH PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY.
