collection is approved as proposed with the exception of questions
22, 35 36, and 38. These questions ask for narratives which are not
likely to be codable and therefore lack practical utility. Thus
these questions should not be asked of more than 100 respondents
for background information to meet NSF's information needs without
imposing undue burden.

WILL IDENTIFY FACTORS WHICH TEND TO IMPEDE OR FACILITATE PROJECT
DEVELOPMENT AND WILL DETERMINE EFFECTS CSIP HAS HAD ON STUDENT
FACULTY, AND INSTITUTIONS. PROGRAM STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES WILL BE
