THIS REPORTING REQUIREMENT IS INTENDED
TO PRESCRIBE REGULATIONS 1) DEFINING "AT ONE TIME" FOR THE PURPOSE
OF THE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION AND RECEIPT OF MONETARY
INSTRUMENTS AS AUTHORIZED BY THE ANTI-DRUG ABUSE ACT OF 1986, AND
2) TO CONFORM THE REGULATIONS TO THE BANK SECRECY ACT BY INCLUDING
ALL TRAVELER'S CHECKS IN THE DEFINITION OF MONETARY
INSTRUMENTS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
