Abstract: THE GROUP INTERVIEWS ARE NECESSARY TO OBTAIN TAXPAYER INPUT ON THE CLARITY OF SELECTED IRS NOTICES. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP (1) ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS OF THE NOTICES TESTED AND (2) STANDARDS TO ASSIST IRS PERSONNEL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOTICES. AFFECTED PUBLIC IS 300 PARTICIPANTS (100 FOR PART I, 200 FOR OPTIONAL PART II).
