Abstract: OWNERS/MASTERS OF PURSE-SEINE VESSELS WISHING TO FISH IN SPECIFIC SOUTH PACIFIC WATERS MUST OBTAIN LICENSES AND SUBMIT CATCH INFORMATION. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE THE RESULT OF A FISHERIES TREATY WITH THE GOVERNMENTS OF A NUMBER OF PACIFIC ISLANDS STATES.
