Abstract: THIS REGULATION PROVIDES RULES RELATING TO CERTAIN LOSSES ATTRIBUTABLE TO PERIODS AFTER OCTOBER 31 OF A TAXABLE YEAR OF A REGULATED INVESTMEN COMPANY FOR PURPOSES OF DETERMINING TAXABLE INCOME, EARNINGS AND PROFITS, AND THE AMOUNT WHICH MAY BE DESIGNATED AS CAPITAL GAIN DIVIDENDS FOR A TAXABLE YEAR.
