Abstract: THIS PROPOSED RULE ALLOWS OWNERS/OPERATORS OF CERTAIN LAND DISPOSAL FACILITIES TO ACCEPT NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE AFTER THE RECEIPT OF HAZARDOUS WASTE CEASES. FACILITIES WOULD BE REQUIRED TO MAKE CERTAIN INITIAL DEMONSTRATIONS AND BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH SPECIFIC NEW REQUIREMENTS IN ADDITION TO APPLICABLE SUBTITLE C REQUIREMENTS.
