this survey with the following conditions. First, information
collected from any non-randomly selected SDAs shall not be used for
statistical purposes. Second, as part of any published data, the
agency shall include a statement of the extent of response and any
likely biases due to nonresponse. Third, the question beginning,
"Do you have information about the accuracy of postprogram
follow-up data in your (State)(SDA)?" (Q9 on p. 29, 17 on p. 39,
and 8 on p. 49) shall be revised to read in its entirety, "Do you
have information about the accuracy of postprogram follow-up data
in your (State)(SDA)? (If yes) Please describe your information
source and your conclusions, if any, about the overall accuracy of
your data on postprogram employment status, average weekly
earnings, and average number of weeks worked." All other parts of
this question shall be deleted from the survey.

JTPA PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AT STATE AND
FEDERAL LEVELS IS BASED IN PART O POSTPROGRAM FOLLOW-UP OF
TERMINEES. INFORMATION ON THE VALIDITY OF FOLLOW-UP DATA IS NEEDED
TO ENSURE EQUITABLE ALLOCATION OF AWARDS. THIS STUDY WILL REPORT ON
THE STATUS OF VALIDATION EFFORTS AND PROVIDE THE BASIS FOR
DESIGNING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE.
