Abstract: THIS SURVEY WILL GATHER INFORMATION FOR APRIL 1989 ON TURNOVER VOLUME IN THE U.S. FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET FROM 154 BANKING INSTITUTIONS, 15 BROKERS, AND 15 NONBANK FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. THE INFORMATION WILL ASSIST IN ASSESSING MARKET STRUCTURE AND IN IMPLEMENTING MONETARY POLICY.
