Abstract: EQUIPMENT INSTALLED UNDER A FIELD TRIAL AGREEMENT PROVIDE THE MEANS AND CONDITIONS NECESSA FOR MONITORING THE OPERATION AND PERFORMANCE OF NEW OR MODIFIED EQUIPMENT IN AN ACTUAL FIELD ENVIRONMENT. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM FIELD TRIALS IS USED TO ASSIST REA'S TECHNICAL STAFF IN DETERMINI THE EQUIPMENT'S SUITABILITY FOR USE ON REA-FINANCED TELEPHONE BORROWER SYSTEM.
