Abstract: THIS REGULATION ESTABLISHES PROCEDURES FOR SURVEYING A PROSPECTIVE SHIP REPAIR CONTRACTOR WHERE THE CONTRACTOR CO IS OVER $100,000 AND THE CONTRACTING OFFICER IS UNABLE TO MAKE AN AFFIRMATIVE DETERMINATION OF RESPONSIBILITY - AS REQUIRED BY PART 9 OF THE FAR (48 CFR 1, PART 9).
