Abstract: DEFENSE REQUIREMENTS FOR VARIOUS COMPONENTS USED IN VARIOUS ITEMS INCLUDING MINIATURE AND INSTRUMENT BALL BEARINGS, PRECISION COMPONENTS FOR MECHANICAL TIME DEVICES, HIGH-PURITY SILICON AND HIGH CARBON FERROCHROME ARE RESTRICTED TO U.S. MANUFACTURING SOURCES FOR DEFENSE MOBILIZATION PURPOSES.
