Abstract: THE NATIONAL HEALTH INTERVIEW SURVEY, AN ONGOING SURVEY OF THE CIVILIA NONINSTITUTIONALIZED POPULATION, MONITORS THE NATION'S HEALTH. THE PRETEST OF THE 1990 NHIS WILL OCCUR IN JUNE, 1989 AND INCLUDE SUPPLEMENTS ON "ASSISTIVE DEVICES", "PODIATRY", "HEALTH PROMOTION AND DISEASE PREVENTION" AND "INCOME".
