Abstract: IN COMPLIANCE WIT P.L. 99-603 AND P.L. 100-204, SECTION 902, THE SERVICE WILL ACCEPT AND REVIEW APPLICATIONS FROM TEMPORARY RESIDENT ALIENS TO ADJUST THEIR STATUS TO PERMANENT RESIDENCE. THIS FORM WILL COLLECT THE NECESSARY INFORMATION TO ADJUDICATE THE APPLICATION AND ISSUE AN ALIEN REGISTRATION CARD (I-551).
